Professional Earlobe & Cartilage Piercings

  • Try to resist the temptation to change your initial jewelry at the six-week mark. Ear and cartilage piercings take up to a year to heal completely.
  • Abandon the stigma of the needle. They are more precise and less scarring than a piercing gun, especially for cartilage.
  • The ear is the most commonly adorned body part. Play around with your aesthetic options and have fun!

Things You Should Avoid

Avoid getting new piercings in both ears at the same time.

Keep your cell phones and pillowcases clean and avoid sleeping directly on new piercings during the healing stage.

Try no to sleep on your piercings, it may make them more prone to irritation, and migration.

Resist the temptation to change your jewelry in the first six-weeks.

Shopping outside of a professional piercing studio during the first year of healing is not recommended since jewelries out there most likely are not implant grade and biocompatibilities are rarely considered.

Do NOT wear jewelries containing nickel or silver. It’s one of the leading reasons that the body reacts to a piercing (new or old)
